Open the Comm Memo

From the Log-E Equipment tab, navigate to the Primary Hand Receipt you'd like to create a checklist for. Tap the three dots next to the name of the Primary Hand Receipt and select Import Updated PDF or comm memo.

Select the Cyclic file you'd like to upload.

Once it's been uploaded, tap Import and Done.

Review and Customize the Checklist

Click on the three horizontal lines in the top left corner to open your navigation menu. Tap Checklists to view the automatically generated checklist based on the uploaded Comm Memo.

Review the checklist and make any necessary changes:

  • Add remarks

  • or view details

Assign Sublists (If Needed)

If you need someone else to review, finalize, or sign a portion of the checklist, you can assign a Sublist:

While on the Checklist tab, tap the three dots next to the checklist name.

Select Assign Sublists.

Name your Sublist. Tap Search assignee and select the team member responsible for this sublist. Then tap Select Items to choose the specific items you want to include in the sublist.

If you want to make more sublists from the original checklist, you can do see during this step by simply swiping to the left or clicking the plus icon next to the assignee name in the top bar.

Tap Save.

The assignee will be notified and have access to review, finalize, and sign their assigned sublist. You’ll be able to monitor their progress from the checklist tab.

Save or Export the Checklist

Once you’ve customized your checklist, tap Finalize.

Once finalized, it can not be modified.

Make a Clone

However, should you need to make changes or restart, you can clone the original checklist.

Click on the three dots and tap Clone.

You will be able to see the original finalized checklist and the copy.

BEST PRACTICES:

  • Ensure the Comm Memo PDF is clear and properly formatted before uploading for best results.

  • Double-check equipment details for accuracy after checklist generation.

  • Use Log-E’s tagging or remarks features to mark special items or add dates.
