How to Complete Sub Component Inventories and generate Shortage Annex or Component Listing

This guide provides step-by-step instructions to help personnel accurately complete sub component inventories and generate a Shortage Annex or Component Listing. It ensures accountability, traceability, and efficiency in tracking components and identifying shortages.

Navigate to the Log-E Equipment Page

Go to the Log-E Equipment page.

Access the Catalog

Tap the three vertical dots next to the name of the Hand Receipt.

Select Catalog from the dropdown menu.

Open the Item BOM

Click the paper icon next to the item you want to generate a Shortage Annex for.

View the Bill of Materials (BOM) & Generate a Shortage Annex

On the BOM tab in the top-right section of the screen, click the clipboard icon in the bottom-right corner.

Select Shortage Annex (DA 2062).

Set Signature Requirements

Choose the recipient for the form.

Select whether a signature is required.

Tap Generate PDF.

An unsigned version of the Shortage Annex will automatically download to your device.

Signing the Shortage Annex

Access the Forms Page

The signer should go to the Log-E Forms page using the navigation menu (top-left corner).

Select Form Type

Tap Select Form Type.

Choose Shortage Annex from the dropdown.

Sign the Form

Locate the required form.

Click Sign.

Once signed, both users will be able to view and download the signed version.
