This article discusses how to respond to different types of Mustrs within the teams you are part of. It is important to understand what to do given the different types of messages so that you play your role in communication.
Table of Contents:
How to View Mustrs
From the navigation menu (☰), navigate to your Mustr Messages Page to view all the Mustrs sent within your team(s) or messages sent to the entire command.
In the top right corner is the filter icon to filter Mustrs by teams.
Things to Keep in Mind:
Some Mustrs have a deadline by which you need to act or respond.
If you are an ORG LEADER or TEAM LEADER, you still have to respond to Mustrs, however Status Checks and Broadcast Messages created by you will always be automatically marked for you as either Yes or Acknowledged.
You can also add a comment for each question, if you want. Keep in mind, these are visible to your command.
Responding to an RFI or Status Check
Status Check
Status checks are used by leaders to check and confirm your safety, perhaps after a negative event.
When you receive a Status Check, the question will always be “Are you ok?”
Tap one of the two options that will appear: Yes or No.
You can also leave a comment.
When ready, tap Submit response.
Request For Information (RFI)
RFI's are a message asking you to provide specific details, like where you are, if you're available, or to upload a document.
See below the type of RFI questions you may get:
When you receive an RFI, you will be prompted to answer a question or a few, with preformatted answers or you can input your own. You may even be asked to upload a file. You can also leave a comment per each response.
When ready, tap Submit response.
Responding to a Broadcast Message
Broadcast Message
Broadcast messages are generally used to relay information to you. You will always have to acknowledge receipt.
Open the message and read the message, including clicking through all pages of any attachments.
Tap Acknowledge to ensure the sender knows you have received and read the message. You can also Add comment if necessary to provide additional information.
Always ensure to acknowledge receipt before the deadline (if any) so that your leaders know you’ve read and understood the broadcast message.
