How to Start or Stop AOK Mustr Text Alerts

Not Receiving AOK: Mustr Text Messages?

Before following the below options, take a moment to check your text inbox and spam or blocked messages folder for any texts from 833-949-3191.

Sometimes, carriers may filter messages as spam, or your phone may have settings that silence or block unknown numbers. Make sure our number isn’t blocked or filtered. Check out the support page for this here.

If still not seeing text messages from AOK: Mustr, here’s what to check:

📱 If You Recently Registered for the AOK App

When you register for the AOK app, you’ll receive a text message saying we will no longer contact you via text. This is expected.


Once you download and register in the AOK app, your command will begin sending updates through the app instead of via SMS.

Exception: In emergencies, you may still receive texts.

📵 If You Did Not Register for the App

If you are not using the AOK app (and have not registered an email previously), you may have accidentally typed “STOP” in response to a message from 833-949-3191, that unsubscribes you from receiving AOK texts.

Want to Start Receiving Texts Again?

Just text “START” to 833-949-3191

This will re-enable AOK Mustr text notifications.

❗️No Longer Part of the Command?

To stop receiving AOK Mustr text messages, simply text “STOP” to 833-949-3191.
